Event Name: McCall Youth/Junior Biathlon
Event Date: Monday 2/6/23
Location: Jug Mountain Ranch, Lake Fork, ID (vicinity McCall, ID)
Start time: 10:30 zero; 12:30 race start
Race format: Modified Individual (8KM, PPSS shooting, 30 second penalty for missed targets)
Entry fee: $25 (plus processing fee; see Webscorer for details)
Trail pass: $13 purchased at resort
Registration open/close: 1/16/23 :: 1/31/23 (Webscorer link on club page will go active on 1/16/23) Participants will be capped at 36 racers.
REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:30pm ON JANUARY 30TH!
Eligibility:
1. 14-20 years old only
2. current USBA registration required (will be required to input USBA # in registration)
3. athlete must have own rifle and ammunition (host club will not provide)
4. athlete must be Red Book certified
Additional Notes: No novice class will be offered. All participants must have some prior biathlon experience and are expected to be able to carry their rifle and shoot prone on prone targets and standing on stand targets (no bench-rests will be allowed; no prone on stand target shooting will be allowed).
